Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited and its regulated subsidiaries implemented policies on Financial Crime to prevent its businesses from involvement in money-laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches and bribery and corruption. The policies are based on Bermuda laws and regulations.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption Statement
Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited and its subsidiaries do not tolerate bribery or corruption. Bribery means giving, offering, or receiving an improper benefit with the intention of influencing the behaviour of someone to obtain or retain a commercial advantage. Corruption is the abuse of public or private office to obtain an undue advantage. We expect the same zero tolerance approach when it comes to bribery and corruption from our customers, business partners and third parties that we work with.
Sanctions Statement
Bermuda Commercial Bank, in compliance with international guidance, will not facilitate any transactions, access to Bermuda Commercial Bank products (including online banking), or engage in business relationships which directly or indirectly involves the following countries: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Russia, Ukraine, Palestine (Gaza Strip), Venezuela.
