Whatever your banking needs, you can apply for a bank account digitally with Bermuda Commercial Bank. With BCB’s Digital Account Application, applying for an account can be simple, convenient and will take approximately 15 minutes of your time.

Who can open an account online?

Online account opening is available to new customers who are over the age of 18 and who are Bermuda residents.

What does it take to open a bank account online?

To complete the application process, you will need:

  • Your passport
  • Proof of residential address (i.e. Utility bill, Bank or Credit Card statement)
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • A device with a camera and a strong internet connection
  • Banking account details to fund the initial deposit

What happens after I submit the application?  

Once you have completed the application, read the Client Declaration, and agreed to our terms, one of our representatives will contact you to confirm whether your account has been approved. After you submit the application, please take note of your reference number and you should receive an email from us.
